What is Cointreau? Exactly.
An orange liqueur with a 144-year French heritage, Cointreau doesn’t have much awareness in the states. We were tasked with getting people to order Cointreau cocktails at bars and to make them at home.
Digging into the brand’s innovative heritage, we resurrected the voice of its avant-garde founder, Édouard Cointreau. We created brand world that was inspiring and thought-provoking; a fresh new verbal and visual handwriting that was at once modern and honored the brand’s history. Advertising, packaging and social media brought the unconventional voice to life.
